1934 MG PA

a regularly used but not abused car
This MG PA has been used virtually every day by its previous owner who reluctantly had to sell it after many years of ownership. When sitting behind the steering wheel it gives you a great feeling of driving a classic MG sports car with its large headlights and attractive bonnet lines. The MG really does have a lovely patina to it and although looking somewhat untidy has suburb character in that it has never been restored. It is a very practical car in that the original MG engine was replaced with a Ford E93A engine with twin SU carbs and was carefully matched up to the original MG gearbox which is still inplace in the car. A period dash panel and instruments have been fitted together with a water thermometer gauge on the radiator cap. The MG still retains its hood frame, hood and side curtains. A small piece of history comes with the car in that it was purchased new in 1934 by Viscount Acheson whose son, being the 7th Earl Gosforth may have some pictures of the car in the family history books. The MG is offered for sale with a road fund licence and a full MOT.
